Two days after joining Eminence, I was so excited I couldn't get any sleep. We were going to AQ40, BWL and Naxx on the weekends. Hellz yeah!!! Tonight was a major blast, as we went after Instructor Razuvious, a death knight boss. Since he hits for 13k on plate, the only way to tank him is to Mind-Control the adds. More on that in a little bit. Now for some pictures.

For most of my day and initial trash pulls for naxx, my school network was screwing me over. My latency varied from 1300 to a nauseating 17k. Fortunately, I fixed some of my firewall settings by the time we were discussing the boss pull and strategy.

That's right. We fight LOTS of Death Knights in this part of Naxx. Tougher than Baron and a tad more scary. The four horseman are yet beyond our reach atm.

Yes indeed - this will be fun. Raz has attacks that land 13k on plate and can instantly kill any mana-user that merely is within line of sight of him. However, he can be tanked by his own adds, and the healer group heals the tanks in a triangle formation.

A tad hectic in the climax of the battle... I love this stuff. Best part of raiding with friends.

Some of the trash pulls in the Plague Wing. These abominations are the real deal. the hero-killing mutants that you saw the Scourge use in WC3. We pwned multiple waves of these things chain-pulled before people needed sleep. We take on Patchwerk or Noth the Plaguebringer tomorrow!

New WoW Expansion Talents for Priests!

Still trying to make a big decision. Both choices are driven by the fact that Blightwood is playing again, in our WoW guild.

I thought I was convinced, but I ran into Formosa (old 60 druid from the pelors days) this morning, and he gave me an idea I hadn't considered. Now I'm even more confused.

Fridays are awesome... no class and no work.

What to do this weekend... well, for anyone who's seen me this past week, I think the first and foremost thing I'll be doing is sleeping. And sleeping. And maybe taking a nap somewhere in between all of that.

Worked out my Cardkingdom order finally - moving to Iowa screwed up my billing address and it took them two weeks to verify I wasn't a fraud credit card user. >.> Well that's good for them.

Why so many people against facebook? It's the users' own faults that they declare to the world that this is what they're doing, when they're doing it, and everything else about their entire lives. You don't want to get stalked? Get used to the idea of doing something about your flippin profile.

Oh, and the toaster oven at Subway is broken. I'm tempted to go to DQ and/or Wendy's for a night out.

Oh and btw - I hate classes already. I'm staying up all night doing these assignments and I still didn't get around to comm law. I hate it!

Got all my nonfiction journals done, now for the fun and *possibly* longer part:

Fiction writing my short story. I've had several thoughts of what to write about, and my classmates are all foreign to fantasy fiction. I'm intimidated at first, but then we don't write out of forcing it - we write because we feel a need to, to tell a story that's close to us, that we can understand and share with others so they, too, may understand and experience it. Entertainment comes from a result of caring and enjoying that kind of genre and/or style.

I think I will write a short story with either Silverheart and/or Tiamat (Silverheart's polar opposite).

I'm here designing two pages for the DEN, whose printer is having a mid-life crisis. I haven't even had a chance to work on my fiction short story or my other journal entries for nonfiction writing.

But Calcifer never ceases to remind me... ^_^ If anyone can write a short story and a handful of journal entries in a single night, it's me. This is the semester I've been looking for to have all the writing practice I need, so I'd better not back down now.

Why didn't I work on it before tonight? Simple. I've been either working at the DEN most nights or working on my newspaper article due later this month. Oh, and staying up late playing games with John when my brain was too dead to write any more, then sleeping in until like 3 p.m. That was my weekend, btw.

Um, yeah. Almost done with work, about to spam my writing skillz and print out 100-some pages worth of fiction writing to distribute...

... And I'm still editing / designing another night tomorrow, followig a full platter of classes.

Man, the weekend is over already.

Slept, played games, did a little homework and reading (not very much), did some writing with Aidan... Mostly slept.
Diablo 2 with Johnathan and random spurts of FFXI. I need to pick and choose.

Andy's playing WoW? Who got that idea into his head? *shrugs*

I'm tired and about to read up on some last-minute things for class tomorrow. Everyone have a good night.
